For this piece I used 4 different texture atlases. I grouped assets that I thought would cull together into one texture atlas for the sake of optimization. Every atlas is 2048x2048px split into 4 equal parts.

This is my second portfolio piece I made at The Game Assembly over the course of 4 weeks half-time. For this piece I wanted to focus on handpainted textures which is something I'm very passionate about. I ended up with a diorama of a little critter's hideout who's very excited about this big egg they found! I took a lot of inspiration from World Of Warcraft and League Of Legends. I wanted to keep the props fairly lowpoly without any sculpting or baked maps - I wanted to be able to convey the material definition of each asset only through the albedo. All models are made in Blender and textures are made in 3DCoat with minor adjustments in Photoshop. Rendered in Marmoset.

I wanna give a big THANK YOU to my amazing classmates and also my wonderful mentor https://www.artstation.com/patrikantonescu who has given me amazing feedback and guidance throughout this whole ordeal. Truly a wonderful experience!
